I got very excited by the location the intrepid Jenny and Stuart chose for their pre-wedding shoot with me last month. I'd seen images of the Ouse Valley Viaduct (Balcombe) before from past photography students and hadn't yet had the chance to visit. This was the perfect excuse! We met at Borde Hill Gardens, donned our walking boots and finished the rest of the journey by foot, which I think made the sight of the viaduct even more impressive when we reached it. Even having seen images of this iconic structure, I was blown away by the feeling of actually being there - such an inspiring setting for a photo-shoot. This spot had sentimental value for Jenny and Stuart and they had great fun clambering and just being together to give me the chance to get the most relaxed images, including a well-earned winter picnic. I so enjoyed spending time with Jenny and Stuart on this shoot - the hike and location (and a bit of silliness) helped us all get to know each other a bit more. Looking forward to shooting their wedding next year!
